Family HealthCare Network Welcomes New Provider, Alexandro Vargas, PhD
Dr. Vargas Brings Collaborative Approach to Providing Quality Behavioral Healthcare.
VISALIA, CA JANUARY 28, 2025— Family HealthCare Network (FHCN) proudly welcomes Alexandro Vargas, PhD, to our family medicine team at our Visalia Oak health center. Dr. Vargas has built a solid reputation for quality behavioral healthcare across the Central Valley, and is excited to help improve access to high quality care for our patients throughout Tulare County.
Dr. Vargas began his career in healthcare through his studies at University of Phoenix, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and his Master of Business Administration degree. After spending years as an International Account Manager with CIGNA Global Health Benefits, Dr. Vargas shifted his career pursuits into the field of behavioral health, and chose to enroll at Walden University, through which he received both his Master of Philosophy degree and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Vargas utilized his education to serve as multiple roles throughout Central California, including time as a Resident Psychologist with Synchrony of Visalia, a Collaborative Care Clinician with Concert Health, and most recently a Social Service Practitioner with Kings County. In 2024, Dr. Vargas accepted a position with Family HealthCare Network.
Dr. Vargas speaks both English and Spanish and is now accepting patients at Family HealthCare Network’s Visalia health center at 400 E. Oak Avenue.
